Worldwide Renaissance introduces their One-Stop Alternative News Center for the time-challenged people of today

Polls indicate that most people do not believe the major media outlets give them the news and information that they need to protect and maintain a healthy democracy, or to uphold their familys social and economic security. People want to know the truth.

North Bergen, NJ (PRWEB) August 15, 2005 – The folks at www.worldwiderenaissance.org refuse to give up hope. They believe that a well informed citizenry is an absolute necessity for a healthy democracy, and they are asking three all-encompassing questions:

Whats really going on in our world today?
Whats at the root of it all?
What are We The People" going to do about it?

To help answer these questions from a variety of perspectives, founders Miriam Andujar and Kevin Moreland have focused their efforts on their One-Stop Alternative News Center for the time-challenged people who want to know whats going but dont have time to visit multiple Websites.

One-Stop Alternative News Center (www.worldwiderenaissance.org) collects the best of the alternative news on the Web, and also relevant new stories from major media outlets, which are either poorly covered or ignored by the mainstream media sources. It also features writers such as Jason Miller, William Fisher, and William Hughes (to name but a few) who share a passion for truth and justice.

Jason Miller is a gifted, prolific, and conscientious new writer whose well-researched essays reflect the influences of giants like Bill Moyers and Noam Chomsky. His work can also be found at Thomas Paines Corner (http://civillibertarian.blogspot.com/).

William Fisher writes for InterPress News Service. He has managed economic development programs in the Middle East and elsewhere for the US State Department and the US Agency for International Development. He served in the international affairs area in the Kennedy Administration. His work can also be found at The World According to Bill Fisher (http://billfisher.blogspot.com/).

William Hughes is a Baltimore author, educator, attorney and a professional actor. He has been writing political commentaries for over 40 years. His last book, "Saying 'No' to the War Party," is his way of challenging the Establishment, while making history come alive. His work can also be found at William Hughes: Internet Commentator and Author (http://home.comcast.net/~liamhughes/).

Writers and artists are all welcomed and encouraged to send in their submissions. For more details about the concept of the 21st Century Worldwide Renaissance, including its mission, goals and objectives, please visit www.worldwiderenaissance.org.
