Celebrate Summers End with a Trip to the Rainforest; TRU Spa's Distinctive Tropical Rainforest Room Offers Salvation for Everyone

San Francisco's premier day spa, TRU, offers guests a trip into their unique Tropical Rainforest Room. There are numerous treatments to help restore and revitalize their skin after the summer's harsh rays.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (PRWEB) August 26, 2005 -- As the summer winds down, San Franciscos ultimate day spa, TRU, picks up the heat with their revolutionary Tropical Rainforest Room. The signature water treatment area is a personal retreat to a place far from everyday life. The room offers guests a chance to restore and revitalize their skin against the suns strong and damaging rays.

TRUs wet treatments feature an indoor rainforest room where guests exfoliate with fresh fruit pulps and essential oils and then are immersed under tropical rain," followed by a refreshing waterfall rinse. TRU is proud to showcase a unique assortment of wet treatments available for individuals or couples.

Treatments Include:

  • Jungle Love- feel part of the jungle, beginning with a coconut and kukui based exfoliant. After a quick rinse, a creamy mixture of tropical fruits and enzymes help steam, soften and clarify the skin. The treatment culminates under the waterfall which rinses away the last remnants of civilization. (65 minutes/$145)

  • Pairs Polish-a couples treatment-enables lovebirds to rub each other down with a sugar based exfoliating and brightening scrub of fresh strawberries, almonds and honey. The jungle paradise is followed by a warm tropical rain mist and trip to the bottom of a private waterfall. (55 minutes/$200- per couple)

  • Sugar Daddy-- no calories here, just a sweet, rich concoction based of three sugars used for an intense full body scrub, vanilla bean and shea-butter balm and a hydrating hair pack. Relax and sit with the steam, rain, and waterfall for 20 minutes and emerge with super-hydrated skin. (55 minutes/$125)

  • Thick In The Mud-get dirty with the aromatic rainforest scrub made of sugar, ylangylang and sweet almond oil, followed by a shea-butter application. Finish with a thick layer of vitamin and mineral rich rainforest mud before steaming for 10 minutes. Relax under tropical rain and waterfall before moisturizing. (55 minutes/$120)
