Brain-Gain" One Employee at a Time
A local company in Pennsylvania hires local talent.
(PRWEB) August 28, 2005 -- IT Analytics, Inc. of Central Pennsylvania has named Joshua Albright as Account Executive. He is a recent graduate of Temple University Fox School of Business and Management, where he majored in marketing and human resource management. Previously, Mr. Albright graduated from Hempfield High School.
"We are very proud to hire from the excellent talent that Pennsylvanias schools have to offer," said Lawrence Berger-Knorr, IT Analytics president and CEO, who also serves as an adjunct Professor of Business at Wilson College. "Josh brings ambition, energy and exceptional skills to the job. We are thrilled to add him to our team."
Since 1989, Pennsylvania's college-attendance rate has surpassed the national average, reaching a high in 2002 of 73 percent. Additionally, Pennsylvania is home to 263 colleges and universities, a total that ranks Pennsylvania third in the nation, only behind California and New York. Student enrollment is ranked fifth in the nation with over 610,000 students. However, according to the U.S. Bureau of the Census from 1995 to 2000, Pennsylvania lost 2.5% more people between the ages of 20-25 then it gained. A phenomenon dubbed the "brain-drain."
Changing the tide, many local businesses like IT Analytics, recognize the economic advantages of hiring locally. "It makes good long-term economic sense," Berger-Knorr said.
Albright will be responsible for sales and account management for IT Analytics services in Central Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. He will report to Chris Fenwick, Director of Marketing for ITA.
