Bloomfield Hills, MI (PRWEB) September 6, 2005 -- Help your children become polite, well-mannered youngsters with the delightful new childrens DVD series Time for Manners. Launching into stores September 20, 2005 from Time for Manners LLC are the first two releases, Time for Manners," which won the Dr. Toy Best Childrens Vacation Product award and Table Time."

Through music and song that teach good behavior skills, Time for Manners is the first in a new DVD series for children ages two and older that makes learning about manners and social behavior fun! The program was conceived by Holly Beth Moncher, who has taught manners for 10 years with great success and proven results.

More than ever, it seems that parents and children want to know how to behave in social situations, says Moncher. There are plenty of negative examples all around us, on TV, at the movies, and in everyday life. I think its important that our children practice some positive examples."

Approximately 30 minutes, the DVDs will be available for a suggested retail price of $16.95 each. Time for Manners" comes with a free set of gold star stickers for parents to positively reinforce young manners enthusiasts as they practice their new skills.

In awarding Time for Manners" its Best Childrens Vacation Award, Dr. Toy (aka Stevanne Auerbach, Ph.D.) said, This is a fun video that will help teach children about the importance of manners and social behavior."

Join a charming group of multi-cultural puppet friends as Time for Manners," presents the twins Tara and Tyler, Wesley and Merlin Manners, as they guide young viewers into the world of proper conduct and teach lessons in: employing key words like Please," Thank you," Excuse me" and Your welcome" and the right and wrong ways to use them (sincerely versus sarcastically, for example); how to deliver a proper handshake; how to share; and using their inside voice." Each time a polite word is used, a Magic Manners Star" is awarded to provide encouragement and learning.

New puppets Rudy the dog and bi-lingual Maya are introduced in Table Time" and Merlin Manners appears as a talking table companion whose lessons are spoken when his hands are squeezed (his left hand is in English, his right is in Spanish).
