New Consumer Electronics Website Reaches Over One Quarter Million Customers in First Year

With over 10,000 consumer electronics products and accessories in their inventory, AVToyBox made its online debut in June of 2004 with only six customers on the very first day. Since then, AVToyBox has grown to host over 2500 unique customers daily from all around the world and totalling over 330,000 unique customers in the first 12 months. The trend continues to rise.

(PRWEB) September 2, 2005 -- The concept for AVToyBox.com began in 1999 by a 26 year old audio and video hobbyist from Phoenix, Arizona who had a personal obsession with mobile electronics installations.

Since the age of 17, Adam Edmondson has been installing and fine tuning car audio equipment and learning along the way how expensive his hobby had become. He realized that sometimes the most cost effective means of purchasing high end equipment at below dealer pricing was to shop online, however the wait for shipment would sometimes take weeks before receiving any product. This meant potential lost business. There had to be a more efficient way to provide customers with competitive pricing yet still be able to ship within a more reasonable amount of time or overnight if needed. AVToyBox.com was born.

Shellie Adams, owner of AVToyBox.com, had this to share - "With Adam's electronics know-how, web design background and marketing experience, he became an immediate asset. We would never have grown to the success point that we are at so quickly without his direct involvement at AVToyBox."

As soon as AVToyBox.com opened to the public in June of 2004, competitive pricing with on-time delivery was immediately available. Customers could now place an order by 5 p.m. EST and receive delivery as early as 8 AM the next morning. Mobile electronics are not the only merchandise available – customers can now order a full selection of home, vehicle and portable electronics including plasma television, installation accessories, XM radio, car stereo products and much more. AVToyBox.com is also an authorized online dealer of many manufacturers including Monster Cable, Garmin GPS, Konica Minolta, Delphi, Casio, Sennheiser and more. Daily pricing updates and ongoing product additions continue today. AVToyBox.com has made plans to expand to over 50,000 consumer electronics products and accessories by the end of 2006.
