Care2Learn launches E-learning Solutions in Spanish

Care2Learn has responded to requests from clients and healthcare educators around the country to grow a substantial library in Spanish for the post-acute care setting including assisted living, home care and skilled nursing centers.

Bradenton, Fla. (PRWEB) September 2, 2005 -- Care2Learn has responded to requests from clients and healthcare educators around the country to grow a substantial library in Spanish for the post-acute care setting including assisted living, home care and skilled nursing centers.

Many titles address the needs of employees working on the front lines caring for patients. In-services in crucial areas such as infection control, residents' rights and proper feeding procedures are 3 of the current 10 titles available in Spanish at www.care2learn.com. E-learning solutions in many languages increase the scope of educating, training, testing, reporting and tracking employees' success.

Many post-acute care companies have multi-lingual employees with Spanish as their first language. We have chosen 10 titles to offer currently and plan to expand to over 40 within the next several months, says Jeanne Christian COO and partner of Care2Learn. As reimbursement challenges occur, these companies do not have the time or the expertise to produce engaging, effective, online content for learning management systems technology - especially in other languages It is our job to assist them with this."
Care2Learn's Spanish library has grown to include Falls Prevention (Caidas, Fuegos y Otros Peligros) ; Communicating with the Elderly ( Cummincarse Con Los Envejecientes) and Abuse and Neglect of the Elderly ( Maltrato y Abuso de los Envejecientes-Una Descripcion) with a total of 10 in-services now available.

We listen to our clients around the country, many of whom are operating ever-changing businesses in states requiring more education. Many states are increasing mandatory education for re-licensure, which means that administrators must offer many types of options for learning in their healthcare settings, regardless of nationality," says Edie Deane, CAO and partner of Care2Learn. " E-learning is a fast-growing resource for the health care employee, which has become evident in our own growth at Care2Learn."

Care2Learn's client base has tripled as a result of expansion into home health, assisted living, and the rehabilitation staffing industry. This expansion places Care2Learn in the position of quickly learning about the post-acute care educational needs of employees.
