BidClix Introduces Site-Specific Bidding for Internet Advertising on its Network of Thousands of Web Sites

BidClix's new way of providing site-specific bidding allows pay per click advertisers to bid on individual websites within the BidClix Advertising Marketplace. With site-specific bidding, publishers now have full control over pricing and are able to fully leverage their brands to attract high value advertisers. Meanwhile, advertisers have more control over where their ads appear so they can better manage their ROI (Return on Investment).

Seattle, Wash. (PRWeb) Sept. 1, 2005 – BidClix, Inc., an open advertising marketplace and advertising technology services provider, announced today that it has introduced site-specific bidding for Internet advertising.

Site-specific bidding allows advertisers to bid on individual websites within the BidClix Advertising Marketplace. The new level of openness increases value for both publishers and pay per click advertisers.

said Paul Needham, President of BidClix, Inc. Traditional Internet advertising networks try to keep buyers and sellers apart. We're trying to bring them together. Traditional ad networks tell the publisher how much they can pay. BidClix is asking publishers how much they want to charge.
We're blasting open our advertising marketplace," said Paul Needham, President of BidClix, Inc. Traditional Internet advertising networks try to keep buyers and sellers apart. We're trying to bring them together. Traditional ad networks tell the publisher how much they can pay. BidClix is asking publishers how much they want to charge."

With site-specific bidding, publishers now have full control over pricing and are able to fully leverage their brands to attract high value advertisers. Pay per click advertisers now have more control over where their ads will appear so they can better manage their ROI.

How it works:

a. Publisher lists their advertising opportunities in the Internet advertising marketplace, naming their own price.
b. Publisher displays sponsored links on their website. Below each sponsored links area is a link to Advertise Here."
c. Prospective advertisers click on Advertise Here" link to set up an account and advertise directly on that publisher's site.

BidClix now offers two advertising solutions for publishers:

1. BidClix Advertising Marketplace:
This open-advertising marketplace brings together buyers and sellers of interactive advertising. Publishers list their advertising opportunities in the marketplace, naming their own price. The free listing in the marketplace gives the publisher exposure to over 11,000 pay per click advertisers.

2. ActiveMarket Technology:
This fully branded, private label, technology solution enables publishers to operate their own self-serve advertising marketplace. Publishers can sell directly to their own advertisers under their own brand.

More information about the two solutions is available here:
