Bloggator Donates Ad Revenue to Hurricane Katrina Relief

Bloggator, a leader in the growing world of blogging, announced today that it is donating its August advertising revenues to the Salvation Army for Hurricane Katrina relief, and challenges other blog businesses to do the same.

(PRWEB) September 7, 2005 -- Bloggator, a leader in the growing world of blogging, announced today that it is donating its August advertising revenues to the Salvation Army for Hurricane Katrina relief, and challenges other blog businesses to do the same.

I grew up in South Mississippi and my family still lives there,” said Jeffrey Smith, Bloggators founder. Weve all been touched by this storm and this is our small way of helping.”

Smith notes that Bloggators advertising revenues went up 50% after adding a special Katrina section to the website that condensed various blogs about the aftermath of the storm.

Additional revenue came from this tragedy, and that money should be used to help those who are suffering from it,” he said.

Bloggators special coverage of Hurricane Katrina can be found at http://www.bloggator.com/special/hurricanekatrina
