Austin, TX (PRWEB) September 15, 2005 -- Sucid Corporation, the leader in SAP testing, today announced that Invensys has selected Sucid to provide the SAP test automation products and services to help Invensys safely convert its SAP hardware platform from Sun to IBM.
As Invensys converts its SAP systems from a Sun hardware platform to IBM pSeries hardware running the AIX operating system, it must ensure the integrity of its key business processes. These business processes spans hundreds of transactions across the Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Human Resources (HR), and Finance (FI) SAP application modules.
Under the agreement, Sucid will provide both a SaaS (Software as a Service) license to Sucid test automation products and the professional services needed to deliver a complete solution. Sucid will model and automate Invensys' business processes in the Americas and Europe SAP systems and will run these business processes on the new IBM hardware platform. The Sucid solution will give IBM the ability to tune the Invensys SAP system to ensure superior performance on the new IBM pSeries platform. The Sucid solution will also give Invensys the crucial assurance that its new SAP system will deliver the reliability, quality and performance under production load required to guarantee the integrity and availability of Invensys' critical business processes following the hardware platform conversion.
