MÄK RTI Chosen by Australian Defence Simulation Office

MÄK RTI chosen as standard for Australian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) September 12, 2005 -- MÄK Technologies, the world's leading supplier of distributed simulation software, announced today that the Australian Defence Simulation Office (ADSO) has chosen to standardize on the MÄK RTI for High Level Architecture (HLA) networking for distributed simulation systems for development of the Australian Joint Simulation Capability (JSC) in partnership with the Australian Army Navy, Air Force, and Defence Science Technology Organization (DSTO). The choice is expected to enhance cooperation and interoperability between the services and the defense experimentation framework.

The MÄK RTI was chosen after an extensive evaluation," said Cliff White, Director General of ADSO. We wanted to implement a standardized approach to connectivity and the MÄK RTI's proven performance in large exercises was the deciding factor in our choice."

MÄK recognizes the trust ADSO has given us with their choice of our RTI," said Warren Katz, MÄK Technologies' chief operating officer. Their purchase recognizes our interoperability expertise, our superior technical support, and the cost-effectiveness of purchasing our product over other options."

An RTI is a key component of the HLA networking architecture. The verified and fully compliant MÄK RTI has been chosen as the backbone of major simulation programs. MÄK RTI customers include Lockheed Martin's F-16 Mission Training Center, Northrop

Grumman Mission Systems' DMT lab, the NATO First WAVE exercise, AFRL Warfighter Training Research Division, FATS and Verrax. The MÄK RTI is consistently proven in third party studies to be the most efficient RTI available.
