Hakins Meetings & Incentives Introduces Michael Putman Estwanik, Senior Sales Executive

Hakins Meetings & Incentives names New York City-based Michael Putman Estwanik Senior Sales Executive.

Wyckoff, New Jersey (PRWEB) September 18, 2005 -- Michael Putman Estwanik has joined Hakins Meetings & Incentives as Senior Sales Executive, bringing with him over twenty years operations/sales experience in the incentive travel and meeting planning industry.

Michael has planned and operated events of all shapes and sizes around the world for clients from the pharmaceutical, financial services, insurance, consumer, media, technology, manufacturing, and biotech industries. He resides in New York and is often a guest speaker at industry events on such topics as creativity and current trends. He has traveled throughout 46 states and 51 foreign countries and serves on the Advisory Board of the Monaco Government Tourism Office.

Michael is currently writing a book, a collection of true stories from the travel industry (some humorous and others quite touching) entitled What Time does the 1:30 Bus Leave for the Airport? Proceeds from the book (your own stories can be included) will benefit Alzheimers research.

In addition to his background in travel, Michael is also very active in the New York entertainment industry. He has been involved in several Broadway and off-Broadway productions and served as President of the Board of Directors of MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) for seven years. He is founder and President of the Songbook Project, a charitable organization which brings professional singers into city schools. Their goal is to introduce young people to American song standards (both old and new) which are their heritage – giving them an alternative to todays rap and hip-hop.
