Entity FX Gears Up For The Arrival of "Smallville's" Fifth Season
Entity FX has begun production for Smallville after finishing last season with an exclamation point.
Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) September 18, 2005 -- Entity FX has begun production for "Smallville" after finishing last season with an exclamation point. The season premier, "Arrival," which has over 130 High Definition visual effect shots in the episode, airs September 29 at 8pm on WB. This will be the fourth season for which Entity FX produces all the visual effects, all in High Def, for the hit series.
Trent Smith, visual effects producer said, "We are very excited to begin work on our fourth season of Smallville. Every show is achieved with the creative flexibility, imagination and energy of the crew here at Entity and at Smallville production. I am very proud of the work that is accomplished week in, week out."
Entity produced a total of 117 High Definition shots for last seasons finale in only two weeks, and is surpassing that in this dramatic season premiere.
Simultaneously, Entity is creating all the visual effects, also all in High Def, for the new ABC drama Night Stalker. In addition, Entity FX supplied all the effects for the pilot for the new WB show Supernatural.
On the feature film side, Entity recently completed work on Disneys summer blockbuster Herbie: Fully Loaded, starring Lindsay Lohan. For the film, Entity produced a variety of totally synthetic photo-real action shots involving a variety of fully CG Herbies along with dozens of CG NASCAR racers, an entire CG California raceway and 100,000 CG fans.
