New Community Rewards Aspiring Actors

ActorsForum.com is a new community that aims to bring aspiring actors together to talk and learn about their art.

Hartford, CT (PRWEB) September 21, 2005 -- Acting may not be the easiest profession to break into, but Northern Connecticut-based Brian David Evans is determined to make it – and he's hoping to help some of his fellow aspiring actors on the way.

ActorsForum.com is a new community that aims to bring aspiring actors together to talk and learn about their art. What's more, thanks to a special deal with Amazon.com, participants in the forum can actually earn money to spend with the Internet retailer.

"Acting has always been my dream," says Brian, from Hartford, Ct. who has been making the three-hour trip into Manhattan every week to attend acting classes. "I've made two trips to L.A. in the past two years, and every time I go I just want it more and more."

Realistically, though, Brian knows he has to first serve his apprenticeship in smaller markets before making the move. It was the realization that he wasn't alone in his dream that led to the creation of ActorsForum.com

"The world is full of people who want to be actors but who just don't have the resources to be able to attend classes or move closer to the opportunities that exist in the industry," says Brian. "Actors Forum was created with those people in mind. It's a place where people can discuss acting, swap tips and hopefully learn from the experiences of others."

Then, of course, there's the opportunity to actually earn some money just by participating in the community, which runs regular contests and to earn books and DVDs through the Post and Points rewards program. The program allows members to earn points for each new member they refer: points can then be spent at the forum store, on books and DVDs.

"My dream is to live in Hollywood as a successful movie actor and to support myself financially through acting," says Brian.

Until then, ActorsForum.com is providing him with all the support and encouragement he needs.
