There are nefarious plans afoot at The Old Brick Inn in St. Michaels, Maryland Innkeepers John and Sallie Cwik are helping to plan a murder at the luxurious The Old Brick Inn. (PRWEB) September 29, 2005 -- St. Michaels, located on Maryland's beautiful Eastern Shore is normally a safe destination for travelers from around the world wanting to visit the Chesapeake Bay. Usually a visitor to St. Michaels will enjoy spending time at The Maritime Museum, finding out why St. Michaels is the Town That Fooled the British", sailing on a SkipJack or Catamaran, dining at one of the many fine St. Michaels restaurants and shopping at the wonderful boutiques lining Talbot Street.

Sallie and John don't know who the actual murderer is, but they do know that the murder will happen at the St. Michaels event of the year at the Old Brick Inn., hosted by Jonathon Tyler, a wealthy, eccentric and not very well liked, member of Eastern Shore Society.

The Old Brick Inn was built in 1816 as the private residence of Wrightson and Elizabeth Jones. It has a cellar which is unusual in St. Michaels, that still has a large fireplace where cooking was done. Wrightson Jones was a shipbuilder during the war of 1812. The house became know as the Williams House in 1877 when the St. Michaels Comet advertised it as having entertainment for man or beast". The house was also the St. Michaels Bank for a number of years, and became The Old Brick Inn in 1993. Today the Old Brick Inn feature 14 opulently decorated rooms, Jacuzzi baths and a swimming pool. Sallies gourmet breakfasts are a daily treat, causing some guests to say it should be a Breakfast and Bed". John and Sallie Cwik came to the Old Brick Inn in April 2005 bringing with them more than 50 years combined restaurant and hospitality background, including 22 years with Anthonys Restaurant in Atlanta. The pair recently sold their Bed and Breakfast in Saugatuck, Michigan and they are enjoying their move to Marylands Eastern Shore.
