Availability of FPGA PowerPC Hardware Software Debugger and Emulator

HiTech Global announced the availability of the world’s most advanced FPGA and PowerPC 405 hardware/software debugger and emulator designed by Computex.

December 5, 2005, San Jose, California - HiTech Global announced the availability of the world’s most advanced FPGA and PowerPC 405 hardware/software debugger and emulator designed by Computex.

The F-Sight emulator is specifically designed for Xilinx Virtex-II Pro and Virtex-4 devices containing IBM PowerPC 405 microprocessor(s). The F-Sight supports cooperative and simultaneous debugging of the PowerPC microprocessor software and FPGA hardware instead of independent debugging with an in-circuit emulator and logic analyzer, respectively. The F-Sight also supports Xilinx FPGA configuration.

The software is the powerful CSIDE debugger which offers higher-level language (C) debugging plus support for embedded Linux and other real-time operating systems from various manufacturers.
