BroadcastVision Entertainment products serve to entertain, distract and motivate most exercisers to the degree that they can complete their workout regimens and achieve their exercise goals, which benefits the health club with continued membership. Most clubs recognize exercise entertainment as a necessary amenity that they must provide in order to attract new members and to retain the existing one’s.
Selector LTD, will be one of the first companies outside of the U.S. to market BroadcastVision’s new, BMW designed, ORBIT Screen Controller and ORBIT Wireless Receivers. Exercisers can now elevate a typically mundane 30 – 45 minute cardio workout by plugging their headphones into the BroadcastVision screen controller or wireless system receivers to enjoy entertainment program selections, modes and volumes.
Prominent health clubs, hotel fitness centers and cruise lines install BroadcastVision’s personal exercise entertainment solutions, to provide a higher level of experience for the exerciser. A scientific study done at the University of North Texas recreation center in 2003 – 2004 revealed that usage of cardio exercise stations equipped with individual TV screens, more than doubled.
Preceding the onset of individual LCD televisions at cardio exercise stations, are wireless transmitting systems which allow the exerciser to hear any of the wall mounted televisions in the cardio exercise theater areas via headphones plugged into the FM, 900 MHz, 800 MHz or 2.4 GHz ORBIT receivers.
Innovative and unique to BroadcastVision’s wireless entertainment offering is the ORBIT series receivers, that sport features important to both the exerciser and facility operator such as cobalt blue illumination, auto shut off, auto frequency scan, direct channel access, previous channel, channel scan, sound equalization. BroadcastVision will release the ORBIT Wireless 800 and 2.4 in E.U. markets in early first quarter 2006. BroadcastVision incorporated a clever business strategy by engineering the ORBIT wireless receivers to operate with competitor Cardio Theater’s wireless system, allowing for an easy upgrade to their system.
