Sentence Says Is The Gift To Give To Friends And Families This Holiday Season

The Award-Winning, Quick-Thinking Sentence Creation Game Is This Seasons Ultimate Gift For Less Than $30.00.

(PRWEB) September 14, 2005 -- When picturing the holidays, many things come to mind: homemade cookies baking in the oven, stores decked out in twinkling lights and colorful trimmings, aromas of pine from your freshly cut tree – among many other wonderful indicators that the merry season has arrived. Yet soon after thinking of all the pleasures of the holidays, one may quickly recall the events that can make the season a bit hectic or even stressful – like holiday shopping. But with a table game like Sentence Says, The Quick-Thinking Sentence Creation Game, from MarBan Industries, Inc., which can appeal to so many on the gift-giving list, holiday shopping can actually be a breeze.

Sentence Says is for ages 7 to adult and 2-6 players or teams. In this fast-moving game, players are challenged to create sentences out of letter cards. Each letter begins any word of a players choice. For example, if a player were to draw the letter cards: I, L, F, A and N, an example of a sentence that can be created using these letters is: I Love Fruitcake And Nog". Action cards that are drawn before a players turn, give an instruction to creating a sentence such as: To get your points, you must create a sentence in the form of a question." Or To get your points, you must create a sentence containing a geographical place such as Kansas, China or Hawaii." The letter cards can be arranged in any order to create a sentence, but a valid sentence must be stated by the player before the timer runs out or opponents will have the opportunity to steal it.

While fun and engaging for the entire family or with friends, Sentence Says also has many educational benefits," says Sherry F. Martin, CEO and Co-founder of MarBan Industries, Inc., maker of Sentence Says. It reinforces grammar lessons, sentence structure and reading skills, also making it a winner for the children on your list."

Recent awards and accolades include a Toy of The Year" award from the Top Creative Toy Awards panel, Dr. Toys Top 100 Childrens Products" award, an iParenting Media HOT" award and a Parents Choice Foundation Recommended" award.

Sentence Says is available at specialty toy stores, book stores, parent/teacher stores, board game outlets, at www.sentencesays.com or by calling 1 (800) 959-8611.
