Delaware Beach Artists Open Studios for 12th Annual Tour; ResortQuest Sea Colony Vacation Rentals Available for Visitors

Fifteen sculptors, painters, weavers, wood turners, ceramicists and metal masters will open their studios and share their creations and the creative process during the 12th annual Southeastern Delaware Artists Studio Tour, held Friday and Saturday, Nov. 24-25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ResortQuest Delaware, with more then 600 Bethany Beach and Sea Colony vacation rentals, is offering accommodations for attendees.

Scattered across Sussex County from South Bethany to Ocean View to Dagsboro, the tour features a wide variety of creatives and artists of national and international acclaim, including Laura Hickman, whose work in pastels and oils capture timeless images of Bethany Beach and the surrounding resort areas.

Attended by hundreds of art-curious visitors annually, the tour is free to the public. Each artist has offered a work to be raffled off to benefit the local schools. Tickets for the drawings, known as "Art in the Hat," are $10. Through the raffle and other generous support, the group has donated nearly $19,000 to Sussex schools.
