For the 14th year, Ocean City's Winterfest of Lights illuminates the characters and traditions tied so closely to the holiday season. Two new displays - the Toy Soldier Spectacular and Ski Jump Bear - lift the lighting to a new level.

Holiday light lovers board the Winterfest Express to travel through the mile-long winter wonderland of dazzling displays featuring small and large displays ranging from the religious to the fantastic and everything in between. Winterfest Village offers visitors a chance to share their wishes with Santa and grab a hot chocolate and a Gingerbread man from the Yukon Cornelius Gift Shop; a a chance to grab some gifts from The Yukon Cornelius Gift Shop.

Scheduled for select nights courtesy of the Winterfest of Lights Gala Committee, free musical entertainment features the sounds of Frank and Trish Curreri, The Delmarva Quartet, Georgia Lea, Berlin Intermediate School Show Choir, Red, The Delmarva Chorus, St. Matthews by the Sea Church Choir, Shore Jazz with Holly Lane, and Bob Geresti on the piano.

Last year, the event was honored by AOL City Guide as the #2 lighting display in the nation and by the American Bus Association as one of North America's 100 best events.

Located in Northside Park on 127th Street bayside in Ocean City, the event is open to visitors through January 1 - from Sunday through Thursday from 5:30-9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:30-10:30 p.m. Admission is $4 for those 12 and older. Children 11 and under ride free.
