Green Enterprises Has a Breakthrough: Solar Heat & UV-Blocking Outdoor Shield (Under Development): Invites Investors/Sponsors

Green Enterprises is developing a out-door UV & solar heat absorbing device, using technology. The organization welcomes sponsors/investors to get involved.

Oakland, CA (PRWEB) January 15, 2006 -- Green Enterprises, a consumer-based technology startup is developing a proprietary outdoor product that promises to let the light in – but just the "good" light.

More than 1.3 million Americans were diagnosed in 2003 with skin cancer, Visit http://www.cancer.org/docroot/PED/content/ped_7_1_What_You_Need_To_Know_About_Skin_Cancer.asp?sitearea=PED for more information on UV exposure skin cancer / melanoma. One simple solution is to eliminate exposure to the sun. This is not realistic; exposure to sun, especially by the young, is not something that will end any time soon. As UV radiation & solar heat levels soar the solution: Allowing people to enjoy the sun, but shield them from the harmful effects of the sun. This is not news; companies have for years offered suntan/sunblock lotions.

Suntan lotion that provides protection from UV radiation is effective if – and this is a big IF – the lotion is re-applied thoroughly and regularly. This is not typically the case. The portion of the population that actually does use sunscreen lotion applies it once and does not re-apply it for many hours, if at all. Therefore, a more effective sun-blocking method of protection is needed in order to begin to reduce UV exposure. Green Enterprises is developing such a solution, our SolarShield project code named, Air Force 1 or AF-1.

"We have a solution whose time has come" explained Will Green, Green Enterprises co-owner. "Instead of having to re-apply sunscreen lotion why not install our next-generation solar defense device that lets in sun-light, but traps both UV radiation and solar heat, relax and sit in the sun without the threat of UV exposure. Our product reduces solar heat giving users a sense of comfort from the suns blazing heat. Our goal is to reduce solar heat and UV exposure using technology.

Responses thus far from Green Enterprises' sources and people who have learned about Green Enterprises’ new development product has been extremely favorable. People are looking for better, more effective means of protection from the sun, improving the quality of life.

Using next-generation materials, Green Enterprises has a solution that isn’t messy, is affordable and will be available in both consumer products as well as larger-scale industrial applications later on.

Our initial samples have been developed, now we are ready for our final run which will produce our product, code named, Air Force-1.
