Wayne State University Professor Named To Manchester 2005/2006 Who's Who Among Professional Women in Counseling and Development
Professor named to Who's Who.
(PRWEB) January 2, 2006 -- Delila Owens, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Counselor Education, Theoretical and Behavioral Foundations Division at Wayne State University has been selected to be included in the Manchester Who's Who Among Professional Women in Counseling and Development.
Dr. Owens has been a member of the Wayne State University faculty since August 2004. She received her Masters of Arts degree from Central Michigan University and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Michigan State University.
Last year Dr. Owens received the CSJ Ohana Award from the Counselors for Social Justice Organization (a division of the American Counseling Association).
She is involved in countless professional associations including: American Counseling Association, American Educational Research Association, Michigan Counseling Association, North Central Association of Counselor Educators and Supervisors, and the Association for Michigan School Counselors. She is also a member of the Michigan Board of Counseling.
