Red Scream Films LLC announced today that their debut film production, the horror thriller "Prison of the Psychotic Dead" is on schedule for an April 2006 release.

Red Scream Films LLC, who specialize in horror, thriller, and other genre motion pictures for the domestic and international home entertainment and PPV markets, announced today that their debut film, the supernatural horror thriller "Prison of the Psychotic Dead" is on schedule for an April 2006 release.

"Psychotic Dead" is about a group of psychics, all with dark and disturbing pasts, who spend the night in an abandoned train terminal. The film was shot in the legendary Buffalo Central Terminal, a art-deco "monstrosity" build in 1929 and largely abandoned since the late 70's.

"The Buffalo Central Terminal is a million dollar set," said Red Scream Films LLC CEO David R Williams, "There is nothing like it anywhere and we used every square inch of it in this film. It isn't just a location, its one of the characters, perhaps the main character."

The film was written and produced by David R Williams who also co-wrote the recently released film Ice Queen. It was directed by D.W. Kann and stars scream queens Melantha Blackthrone, Demona Bast, Noel Francomano and Susie Andriansen.

Red Scream Films LLC also published the film magazine Red Scream.

"We are looking to do between two and four films a year, all shot in the Buffalo, New York and western New York areas. We are looking for a distributor interested in an output deal wherein we produce the films and they market and distribute the films." said Williams. "However, if we can't get the kind of deal we want, I have a strong background in ecommerce and we will undertake distribution and marketing on our end."

Slated for production are a sequel to "Prison of the Psychotic Dead", the splatter-punk noir "Void Edge" and an as yet untitled vampire film.
