The attendees of the Summit will discuss how new business models demand a different approach to the acquisition of knowledge and skills in organizations. The Summit will be a forum to present and discuss the latest research on the changing face of learning and development in organizations, and provide CLOs and other training professionals the opportunity to develop a new strategic agenda specifically for their situation
The Summit will be facilitated by author and recognized speaker Martyn Sloman who is an Adviser for Learning, Training and Development at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and a Professor at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. Mr. Sloman has been responsible for research projects that investigate the role and contribution of learning and training in organizations, e-learning, and the links between people management and technology, and training in the global economy.
