It also seems that the service is a big hit with some of the smaller suppliers and the site's founder and Editor Andrew Long, comments on why it will create a valuable 'shop window' for all relevant golf companies.
"We've had a tremendous response from over 70 suppliers so far and a lot of them are very complimentary, regarding the method and speed in which we publish their PR material."
It is all about relevant content with the search engines these days and News about Golf is certainly building more and more pages, in their quest to become a major resource in the golf marketplace.
"Our service will provide people with highly relevant results, which the search engines will love. This means that we'll get good traffic and the suppliers will receive great page views from potential customers," Andrew comments.
As well as good content, the site also boasts very quick loading speeds for each story page. This is mainly due to the fact that there are no product images on any of the story pages.
"It was a conscious decision not to include images on the site. If people want to find out more information about a product or service, they can click on the provided web link from the company contact page. We think it is more important to provide a good level of highly relevant material, rather than slowing everything down by using large images. This also means that we have more room to archive older stories, so visitors can take an historical look at some stage in the future," Andrew concluded.
