Beauty and Brains Pageant and $15,000 Scholarships Competition

The Beauty and Brains Pageant® awards $15,000 scholarships annually to the pageant winners in the USA and abroad. Sponsored by the Institute for Education, Research, and Scholarships, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity organization, the pageant emphasizes personal achievement and community service.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 1, 2006 -- The Beauty and Brains Pageant® awards $15,000 scholarships annually to the pageant winners. Sponsored by the Institute for Education, Research, and Scholarships http://www.ifers.org , a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity organization, the pageant emphasizes personal achievement and community service.

To be held in 2007 in Los Angeles, the first annual Beauty and Brains Pageant® will award the pageant winner with a $10,000 scholarship. The 1st and 2nd runner-ups will receive a $4,000 and $1,000 scholarship respectively. More great prizes will soon be announced. The areas of competition are: Interview, Evening Gown, and Community Service.

Applicants must be at least 17 years old. Female high school seniors and college students in the USA and abroad are eligible. Contestants can be single, married, or divorced and may have children. US citizenship is not required. Both full-time and part-time students are eligible.

Application fee and non-refundable deposit is $75. The entry fee is $225. All fees and donations are 100% tax deductible in accordance with the United States tax laws.
