Midwest's Top Corporate Executives to Aid in Long-Term Katrina Relief Efforts
Who says corporate philanthropy is dead. On November 18th, 2005 Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain Management executives from the Midwest’s top public and private organizations joined forces to donate to The Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund.
Oak Brook, IL (PRWEB) January 2, 2006 -- Who says corporate philanthropy is dead. On November 18th, 2005 Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain Management executives from the Midwest’s top public and private organizations joined forces to donate to The Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund.
The one day summit entitled, “The Best Practices Xchange (BPX),” included a “Who’s Who” of the Midwest’s top Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain Management Executives. Oak Brook based consultancy The Mpower Group facilitates each meeting and collected an undisclosed amount of funds from each of the member organizations to support the efforts of the “Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund”. This practice of donating half the membership dues will continue in the future.
