Due to the thickness of the material, separation of the two concrete layers occurs if the old concrete wasn’t totally eradicated, posing a serious and costly long term problem. In addition, simply placing new cobblestone over the old concrete would create a doubly thick surface, which could easily be higher than doorsteps, the lawn, or the lip of the pool.

Stronite, which is cut in 4”x4” squares and is only 3/4” thick, solves the problem of tearing out old concrete. It can quickly and easily be set over existing concrete, like floor tile, to achieve a cobblestone effect.
