Long time Women’s Lacrosse innovator and web developer team to launch an online lacrosse clothing store featuring embroidered lacrosse-theme logos.

There is a new web site for women’s lacrosse enthusiasts at http://www.laxgirlsport.com . The site features embroidered lacrosse images on apparel and accessories, ranging from whimsical to classic.

Amy Vansant Brunell, CEO of the Maryland-based web development firm Vansant Creations and Cathy Samaras owner of http://www.thelaxwiz.com recruiting service, http://www.womenslacrosse.com, http://www.quickstix.com and other lacrosse services and leagues combined efforts to launch the site.

“I’d been wanting to do an e-commerce site of my own for a while and teaming with my long time client seemed like the perfect opportunity,” said Ms. Brunell. “Cathy Samaras is a major figure in women’s lacrosse nationwide and we agreed the girls she works with every day would appreciate a store like this.”

LaxGirlSport.com features embroidered logos on clothing and accessories including a female lacrosse player, a “tattoo” style emblem, and of course, the classic crossed lacrosse sticks logo and others. Clothing available include classic polos, tees and sweats as well as trendy American Apparel items

“Currently most of the items are custom embroidery; you can add your name or your team’s name beneath the logo,” said Ms. Brunell.

Currently the site is also offering a 10% bonus coupon to celebrate the grand opening. Visitors only need to type “bonus” into the coupon code box during checkout to instantly receive the discount.
