David Link of Knowledge Infusion Featured Guest Speaker on 'Transforming HR and Automating Service Delivery' at ADP Carolinas Users Group

Showcasing the strategic consultancy’s thought leadership in the human capital management (HCM) industry, Knowledge Infusion today announces that David Link will be a featured guest speaker at the ADP Carolinas User Group Conference in Charlotte, N.C. on January 18, 2006. Link’s presentation on “Transforming HR with Technology and Automating HR Service Delivery” will provide ADP clients and prospects both in attendance as well as joining via satellite with information on how to effectively transform HR by leveraging technology through process improvement.

What: David Link, COO and managing consultant of Knowledge Infusion, will present at the ADP Carolinas User Group Conference in Charlotte, N.C. as an encore presentation to his session at the ADP Mid Atlantic Users Group in June 2005. Link’s session will focus on the following four key areas:

  • Recent trends and activity to move HR service delivery to a digital environment with an emphasis on self service and the portal framework.
  • Overview of key business drivers influencing this area including business view of how HR, employees, and enterprise IT is changing.
  • Insights into issues that drive successful HR and HCM technology deployment and adoption.
  • Collaboration techniques attendees can use to move HR Technology initiatives forward and help build momentum for HR and HRT as an organizational leader.

The ADP Carolinas User Group will also include a presentation from Dara Brenner, ADP product director, focusing on the ADP strategy pertaining to self service delivery to the marketplace. Additionally, the half-day event will showcase a client best practice presentation and discussion, a brief demonstration of the ADP Self Service Solutions from ADP self service product experts as well as networking opportunities.

Who: As chief operating officer and managing consultant, Link is responsible for leading the Knowledge Infusion strategic HCM practice, focusing on helping customers better understand how HCM technology can drive strategic value throughout their organization. Link has nearly 20 years in the consulting industry and has worked closely with HR and IT executives to design and enact a transformation of the HR function by leveraging technology solutions. Prior to joining Knowledge Infusion, he was vice president of HR Transformation at The Cedar Group, formerly known as the Hunter Group. In this position, he utilized his unique blend of technology solutions and business strategy to work extensively with vendors including PeopleSoft Inc., SAP, Oracle Corporation, Workscape, Authoria and others to articulate market trends and issues around how to successfully move traditional HR to human capital management. Link has also held several leadership positions at Watson Wyatt Worldwide in its HR technology practice and has been associated with many HR self service innovations and best practices throughout his career.

Why: HR self service has dramatically changed over the past 20 years, with the current emphasis of HR service delivery today to drive efficiency, cost savings, and enable strategic HR across the organization. Link’s presentation will provide attendees with an overview of the transformation of the HR service delivery model; discuss why it is imperative for organizations to focus on this now, and how technology solutions such as portals are foundational elements to creating an HCM environment and driving true business results within an organization.

Where: The conference will be delivered live in Charlotte, NC and simulcast to the Marriott Crabtree in Raleigh, N.C., the Marriott in Greenville, S.C., and the Charleston Place Hotel in Charleston, S.C. ADP representatives will be present to host each location.
