Born and raised in what is known as the hair capital, the native Detroiter Shereese Slate started her quest for hair stardom in 1984. As an educator and platform artist she created new looks for the ever changing fashion trends not only nationally but globally as well.
After relocating to the NYC area to pursue her passion of working in the entertainment industry, Shereese began to be known for her natural looks of hair styling and hair extensions.
