Kate’s Caring Gifts Announces Winners of Their First Annual Environmental Poetry Contest

Kate’s Caring Gifts is pleased to announce the winners of our first annual environmental poetry contest. Contestants were asked to submit limericks and/or haiku with an environmental theme. The winners were selected by popular vote from visitors to www.KatesCaringGifts.com Each category had a first and second place winner.

Fremont CA (PRWEB) January 6, 2006 -- Kate’s Caring Gifts is pleased to announce the winners of our first annual environmental poetry contest. The poetry contest was conducted from July through September. Contestants were asked to submit limericks and/or haiku with an environmental theme. Contestants were allowed to submit any number of entries, in either or both categories.

The winners were selected by popular vote from visitors to www.KatesCaringGifts.com Each category had a first and second place winner.

Kate’s Caring Gifts President and Founder, Kate Amon, talked about the contest. “Mostly, we thought it would be fun. We had a feeling that the visitors to our site are creative, as well as appreciative of nature, so we were anxious to see what they would come up with. The results surpassed our expectations, and we were delighted with the wonderful responses.”
