In The Black Productions and Films is Holding an Open Casting Call for Actors and Spoken Word Artists

In The Black Productions & Films is holding an open casting call for a stage play "Live From The Other Side" an adaptation of the book "Other Side of the Rainbow" by Jerome P. Barney.

Mr. Barney, a prominent attorney in the Metropolitan Detroit area wrote a book of poems "The Other Side of the Rainbow" about his struggles with life, lust, love, marriage and divorce.

Director, Mike Kelly, has adapted the book into an insightful stage play "Live From The Other Side". Actor/producer/director/ teacher Mike Kelly has been involved in theater arts for more 50 years. He is also the owner of the celebrated playhouse “Theater North” in Traverse City, Michigan.

As an actor, he was in the 1999 film “The Lost Treasures of Sawtooth Island” and the 2003 film “Barn Red” with Ernest Borgnine.

He recently director the stage play "Proof". Gwenth Paltrow will star in the movie version.

Mike is looking forward to the success of “Live From The Other Side” to spawn a national tour.

This joint venture is helping with the economic rebirth of Detroit by bring quality entertainment into the downtown area.
