IonKids Wristag™ Offers Ultimate Child Safety

GPS Tech Direct provides GPS units that will help protect families from the ever increasing number of sex predators that are in the communities where we live.

National crime statistics show that child abductions account for nearly 90% of all abduction cases in 2004. This is an alarming rate! However, now there is a wireless product that can help you know exactly where your children regardless of where you or your child is located.

GPStech is proud to offer this new wristband-base unit combination called IonKids (eye-on-kids) that offers a new level in child safety. With a range of up to 200-feet indoors and 350-feet outdoors, you’ll know the exact location of as many as four (4) children with this new product.

According to GPS Tech Dealer Jerry Moore, “While most people think of wireless devices used with computers and entertainment products, this same technology is being used with a product that offers the ultimate in the safety of children. We’re excited about IonKids and the peace of mind it can bring to parents.”

The Wristag™ is a colorful wristband worn by the child and alerts them with both color and sound when they have gone out of the designated monitoring zone. The band is tamper-resistant and alerts the base unit when removed.

The IonKids rechargeable base unit is slightly larger than a slab-styled cell phone and can monitor up to four different Wristag devices. The unit displays each of the children’s names and provides information on their distance from the base device. When the child’s distance exceeds the monitor zone, it alarms the parent and set alarms on the Wristag as well.

Pricing of the IonKids package will depend on how many Wristags will be needed. A simple base unit and one Wristag are priced at $239.95. Four Wristags and the base cost a total of $379.95.

GPStech also offers other products such as a GPS Fleet Management Systems and AutoRepo for vehicle repossession as well as several other GPS (Global Positioning System) products.
