Photo & Writing Contest: Winter Surfing

MoreBeach.com announces first annual Winter Surfing photo and writing contest. Theme is winter surfing.

Orleans MA (PRWEB) January 7, 2006 -- MoreBeach.com (http://morebeach.com) announces its first annual "Winter Surfing" photo and writing contest. Surfers and their friends are invited to submit photographs and words (from haiku to essays:10 words to 10,000) that capture the experience of winter surfing (and kiteboarding and windsurfing)at http://morebeach.com/winter_surf_06.html. From ice cream headaches (how your head feels after being immersed in 35 degree water) to Victory at Sea (out of control waves during a Nor'easter) winter surfing is about dedication, beauty, soulfulness, cold water, hot showers and hotter coffee and tea.

All entries will be published prominently at http://MoreBeach.com. Each winner (one photographer, one writer) will receive $100, a surf DVD of their choice from our online store and have a donation of $100 made to their local chapter of the Surfrider Foundation in April 2006. Each entry will be judged by the editorial staff of MoreBeach.com on the basis of how well it captures the winter surfing experience. All entries are welcomed and appreciated.

Entries should be received no later than February 28, 2006.
