Boston-based International Human Resources Development Corporation (IHRDC) has released its 2006 schedule of instructional programs for energy professionals. This year, the program topics include gas, power, petrochemicals, finance and accounting, petroleum project economics, petroleum agreements, national petroleum interests, human resource management and essential skills for management.
IHRDC has been delivering management programs for practitioners in the energy sector since 1990. Participants from over 40 countries, representing more than 450 companies, have attended programs in Boston and throughout the world. The company is known for introducing the “business game” into programs, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of the topic by engaging in hands-on planning and decision-making.
“Our energy management programs focus on both the business fundamentals and continuous changes that are occurring in the converging oil, gas and power business", said Dr. David Donohue, President of IHRDC. "We find it necessary to add new programs annually to keep up with the rapid pace of change in the our industry. All of our 2006 scheduled programs are a response to that need."
IHRDC will hold the thirteenth annual International Gas Business Certificate Program in Boston May 15-26, 2006 and again October 2-13, 2006 and the sixteenth annual International Petroleum Management Certificate Program in Boston September 11 through October 6, 2006.

In addition to the long-established offerings, IHRDC will be offering several shorter introductory programs to give participants an overview of the gas and petroleum industry.
