Actor Johnny Alonso to Star in the Short Film, 'The Passing'

Production is wrapping up on the short film, "The Passing" starring Johnny Alonso.

Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) January 9, 2006 -- Actor Johnny Alonso ("The FBI Files", "WB's One Tree Hill" and "Dawson's Creek") is in production for the short film, "The Passing." Directed by Aaron Gentzler, "The Passing" is wrapping up production in Baltimore, Maryland, and is scheduled to premiere in early March.

The film, produced by Stacie Jones/Black Ink Films, explores death, grief and anger among four friends in their twenties. Sean and Annette and Adam and Mary are two couples who have been close friends for many years. When Annette suddenly passes away, Adam must help his best friend cope with the loss of his wife while dealing with his own grief. Their lives and their friendship will never be the same.

The role of Sean will be played by Johnny Alonso. Newcomers Clayton Myers (as Adam), Lisa Rogers (as Mary) and Geanie Alan (as Annette) will highlight this this intense dramatic short. "The Passing" is wrapping up production this week, and will be hitting the festival circuit throughout 2006.
