(PRWEB) January 14, 2006 -- Janet Bellinger will be doing two Book Signing at Chapters. The first will be in Barrie, on Barrie View Drive, on Saturday,February 4, 2006 from 12-2 p.m. 4, 2006 from The second will be at the Market Malll on East Quarry Drive, in Brampton, Ontario on Saturday, February 25, 2006 from 2-4 p.m. Janet is the author of Teacher on the Run, a fast paced new novel about being a foreigner and female in Japan. Teacher on the Run features Whitney, a talented young English as a Second Language teacher on the run from a messy situation in Toronto. She quickly learns that she has taken herself out of the frying pan into the fire when she finds herself the object of discrimination on the part of her boss, Suzuki Tama. The burner is turned up when a mysterious red car begins to shadow her.
As Whitney becomes more accustomed to exotic and intriguing Japan, she learns how to utilize the Buddhist concept of making each moment in time count, as it will never exist again. Whitney also learns how to stand up for herself against her employer and how to accept help from Kano, the handsome but older father of her star student, Rinji. In the exciting climax, however, it is not Whitney who needs help but Kano and Rinji, and our heroine puts herself in the right place to provide it. This dedicated teacher also is a shining example of courage and determination as she shows that one person can make a very big difference.

Janet is passionate about visiting Japan. "It is the one place I want to visit," she says. "I am saving for it. I want to go there with my husband."

On the list of places to see are Mount Fujii, Nagoya Castle and the Osaka Aquarium all of which are featured in Janet's novel. "And the best of all is the cherry blossom festival," Janet says. "I can't wait to see all those beautiful blossoms."

Janet tutors two newly arrived Japanese students and reports they are an absolute delight to teach.

"They are such dedicated students. They never back away from work. I am amazed at how quickly they are mastering the English Language. I am so proud of them."
