RICHMOND, VA. – January 11, 2006- Meeting planners’ can now narrow their search for the ideal meeting site in Virginia with the newly-published 2006-2007 Virginia Meeting Planners’ Directory. Produced by the Virginia Tourism Corporation, the 170-page publication presents in glossy color a free, user-friendly guide to planning and experiencing meetings and conventions in the Commonwealth.
The planner divides Virginia into eight regions – Hampton Roads, Chesapeake Bay, Eastern Shore, Central Virginia, Northern Virginia, Shenandoah Valley, Blue Ridge Highlands, and Heart of Appalachia. Dedicated sections on each region offer detailed information on meeting venues, regional overviews and illustrated listings of accommodations, attractions and DMO’s.
