Executive Strapped To Pole For 24 Hours

Hampshire based corporate event management company is looking for up to 500 volunteers to play a 24 hour game of Human Table Football in an attempt to get into the Guinness Book of Records and raise £25,000 for Leukemia Charity.

(PRWEB) January 11, 2006 -- Hampshire based corporate event management company is looking for up to 500 volunteers to play a 24 hour game of Human Table Football in an attempt to get into the Guinness Book of Records and raise £25,000 for The Anthony Nolan Trust.

Human Table Football is a full sized inflatable version of the popular pub game. Players are strapped to poles across a large inflatable 5-a-Side football pitch. Progressive Resources’ Managing Director James Coakes explains ‘the game requires a great deal of teamwork and communication because if someone on the same pole as you moves you will need to move too. Failure can result in hilarious consequences!’

The Anthony Nolan Trust takes back lives from Leukemia by managing, and recruiting new donors to the UK's most successful bone marrow register. The Trust also conducts pioneering research into the treatment of bone marrow disorders and improving the effectiveness of bone marrow transplants.

The event is open to individuals and teams from companies and will be held in July at Rhinefield House Hotel in Brockenhurst.

Executives interested in joining in the challenge should contact James Coakes of Progressive Resources, The Team Building Company, on 01425 480500. The first 100 to register will receive a free ‘Record Breaker’ T shirt.
