The companies owner and founder, Mark Colyer had this to say about the site, “I am very pleased with the results of our first full year, both financially and development wise”. We established some key card issuer relationships, and finally where able to secure a bilingual (English and Spanish) sub-prime online application with a large, recognizable issuer. The focus in 2006 is to open our market internationally; to the other 20+ countries whose primary language is Spanish and/or Portuguese.”

In addition to credit and debit cards, the company plans to offer merchant/credit card processing services and global money remittance services to the global Hispanic/Latino community via the internet this year.

Credit Cards en Español also owns the Portuguese domain names CartaodeCredito.com and CartoesdeCredito.com (translated to: CreditCard.com and CreditCards.com), which solidifies their position in the countries of Brazil (Latin America) and Portugal (Europe).
