January 5, 2006 Seattle, WA- Studies show that over 80% of women have some form of cellulite. Bela Skin & Body announces the latest development in non-invasive cellulite treatment, VelaSmooth, which effectively reduces the appearance of cellulite and recontours the body. This is the first and only FDA approved device available, which combines safe and effective treatment for the reduction and resculpturing of body fat. Angela Corpus, Licensed Esthetician, of Bela Skin & Body is the only providers of this innovative technique in the greater Seattle area.

“Most women don’t ask about and don’t even realize that there is a solution to the cellulite problem,” Angela says. “With this fantastic and new technology, we are able to address a woman’s concerns about her body and effectively improve how she looks.”

A VelaSmooth™ procedure can be easily done in a series of lunch breaks or after work. The treatment includes a combination of radio frequency waves and a laser to break up fat within the cells. A mechanical massage device breaks up and redistributes the cells, sculpting the affected area into a more desired form. The 6-8 week program (with visits twice a week) is done without side effects, without drugs, and without any down time. Maintenance is easy: with regular exercise and a healthy diet a client will typically revisit the clinic in six months for preservation of new contours.

Ninety percent of patients of a clinical study at the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery in Washington, DC noticed improvement to their bodies, with marked reduction in cellulite appearance one month after the series of treatments with VelaSmooth.

VelaSmooth utilizes Syneron's patented elos combined energy technology of Bi-Polar Radio Frequency (RF) and Infrared Light, along with the two added features of negative pressure and tissue mobilization. The VelaSmooth technology combining these four components is separately patented and contributes to VelaSmooth's success as the most effective non-surgical option to treat the appearance of cellulite. More technical and clinical results can be found at www.syneron.com.
