GPS-Wireless 2006, set for March 2-3, at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Hotel, offers mobile information professionals current market data. In its 10th year, GPS-Wireless features 40 speakers and 30 tabletop displays.

More than 200 mobile information professionals from the largest wireless carriers, mobile electronics vendors, automobile manufacturers, homeland defense and computer companies will meet March 2-3 for GPS-Wireless 2006 at the Marriott Hotel-San Francisco Airport.

This 10th annual conference, sponsored by Global Technology Communications, Inc. (GTCI), features 40 speakers from the top wireless carriers, automakers, portable navigation companies and many others. New for 2006 will be a early bird networking reception the night before the conference on March 1.

The largest automotive manufacturers, wireless carriers, GPS providers and software companies are finding more ways to get information (navigation, traffic information, location-based e-commerce, security, etc.) into a vehicle or a mobile device such as a personal navigation system or cell phone. Portable navigation systems are taking off to such an extent that experts say 2006 is the “year of navigation.”

GPS-Wireless 2006 includes these panels: Executives Panel, Wireless Location Services, Mobile Resource Management Systems Market, New Technologies, Automobile as a Mobile Information Platform, and a Wireless Executives Panel. If you are a wireless carrier or auto manufacturer executive and would like to speak, call (303) 369-3230.

GPS-Wireless 2006 costs $699 for the first attendee and $599 for additional attendees from the same company. Hurry to receive this low rate as the registration fee will go up to $799 after Jan. 16, 2006, at 5:00 p.m. PST. On-site fees are $899.

Current conference sponsors include Telcontar, NovAtel, ALK Technologies, Synergy Systems and GeoMicro. GPS-Wireless 2006 will feature more than 30 tabletop displays during a two-and-a-half-hour hosted reception. Tabletops are available at $449 each. The hosted reception is known as one of the best networking opportunities in the industry. Contact us for information on sponsorship or exhibiting.

Other conferences cost two to three times as much as GPS-Wireless 2006 -- and offer fewer speakers and no networking opportunities. GPS-Wireless 2006 offers a pre-conference reception, keynote luncheon, networking coffee breaks, continental breakfast, a hosted reception and buffet luncheon with tabletops, a 300-page binder full of market information and significant lodging reduction at the Marriott San Francisco Airport Hotel.
