Founder and Executive Director of Love Humanity International to Attend International Conference of Child Abuse Prevention in USA
Founder and Managing Trustee, Louise Anita Williams and Valji Bagda, Honorary Executive Director - both of Love Humanity International in Mumbai are attending an international conference of Child Abuse Prevention in San Diego.
Mumbai, India (PRWEB) January 13, 2006 --Louise Anita Williams, Founder and Managing Trustee, and Valji Bagda, Honorary Executive Director, of Love Humanity International, a charitable trust headquartered in Mumbai that provides preventative solutions for child abuse, will be attending an international conference on Child and Family Maltreatment presented by the Chadwick Centre for Children and Families of Children’s Hospital and Health Center-San Diego in the USA. The conference is being held at the Town and Country Resort and Convention Centre in San Diego, CA from January 22nd through to 27th. Over 1,500 professionals and representatives from all over the world will attend.
The purpose of the conference is to enhance the skills of professionals in the prevention, recognition, assessment and treatment of all forms of child abuse and neglect, including those related to family violence.
An international audience representing medicine, mental health, law, criminal justice, child welfare, public policy, continuing education and research and review of pertinent issues of public policy will be discussed and research papers will be submitted.
Both Williams who is originally from Orange, California, but now resides in Mumbai and Bagda, who is from Rajkot, Gujarat, India will be meeting with the U.S. Board of Regents of Love Humanity, a National Heritage Foundation, and other similar organizations as well as visiting various educational institutions in Southern California.
Love Humanity International is an all India charitable trust in Mumbai with one goal – to effect positive change in the future by empowering children to grow into strong, loving, educated, self-reliant adults who may one day give back to their community, country and/or possibly the world. Love Humanity serves adults as well as children by providing community awareness and educational programs on alternative ways of rearing and treating children, using love and encouragement as the basic foundation. Target audiences for the course are parents, expecting parents, teachers, relatives of children and childcare providers.
