New York, NY (PRWEB) January 14, 2006
Art4love Inc. (ALVN.PK) today announced the creation of Art4love Images Inc, its digital rights licensing subsidiary. Art4Love Images will manage the licensing and distribution of digital images from the works within the Art4Love fine art catalog. Over 15,000 fine art images, by Art4Love member artists, will be available for licensing to advertisers, designers, publishers, corporate communicators and commercial marketers. The Company has set a goal of 35,000 images in its digital inventory within the next six months.
“Since we began over 5 years ago, it has been our vision to become a complete multi-channel provider of fine art and imagery,” said Chad Love Lieberman, Co-founder and CEO or Art4love Inc and Art4Love Images. “After careful research of the existing business models of the Image Industry leaders, Getty Images (NYSE:GYI), Corbis (founded by Microsoft CEO Bill Gates) and Jupitermedia (NasdaqNM:JUPM), we determined it was feasible for Art4Love to successfully provide fine art digital imagery to commercial markets. The Art4LoveImages program enables fine artists to profit from works they have already sold, currently in their studios or to be created in the future.”
Art4LoveImages is built upon the tested technology that powers Art4Love. The Company expects that by the second quarter of 2006 the entire Art4LoveImage web site will have significant additional functionality. The objective is to provide a detailed filtered search capability that will retrieve images based on various criteria, including: artist’s location, art category and particular specialties.
Art4Love Inc. is committed to providing innovative technologies and services to support the business and creative efforts of its member artists. Art4LoveImages is one of the first art technology-consulting firms offering artists a new way to look at selling their creations, in digital form, to the business world. “This new channel of distribution and the corresponding new revenue streams, allows us to tap into a broader universe of artists,” stated Lieberman.
Membership in Art4LoveImages is free for current Art4Love artists and all other fine artists. Artists can register to receive a submissions package at http://www.art4loveImages.com. Participating artists will gain access to Art4love’s targeted users and potential buyers.
“I am pleased with both the quantity and quality of the digital content that we have amassed to date. At the same time we recognize that it is important for us to continually expand our image catalogs. Jupitermedia has invested over $200 million in cash over the past two years, acquiring a number of image companies to own their catalogs. This trend reinforces the value. I will stand by the claim that Art4LoveImages has the potential to become one of the most recognizable brands for original fine art digital content collections,” concluded Lieberman.
