Up and Coming Australian Star Melissa George Cast in ‘The Music Within’
The gorgeous star of last year’s The Amityville Horror and Derailed, Melissa George has just been cast in the film ‘The Music Within,’ opposite Ron Livingston (Office Space).

The Music Within is based on the true story of Richard Pimentel (Ron Livingston), a brilliant Public Speaker who returned from time in Vietnam with severe hearing impairments. He found new purpose in his life with his landmark efforts on behalf of Americans with Disabilities.
George was most recently seen opposite Clive Owen in the thriller ‘Derailed’, and opposite Ryan Reynolds in the remake of The Amityville Horror. However, she is most well remembered for her star turn as the duplicitous Lauren Reed in Season 3 of ABC’s Alias. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband of 6 years. ‘The Music Within’ is Director Steven Sawalich’s first big screen foray, and is set to commence filming in early 2006. His previous work was a short film entitled 'Sunday in the Park with George and Phil', which he wrote, produced and directed.
The film was written collectively by Kelly Kennemer, Bret McKinney and Mark Andrew Olsen. It is being bought to the screen by Articulus Entertainment.
