About Community Day

Now in its 11th year, Community Day began with Bishop Turner’s desire to reach out to the diverse cultures and ethnicities within Los Angeles County. Desiring to empower the youth, promote cross-cultural unity, and stimulate opportunities for jobs, Bishop called on local businesses and county services to join with him to meet the needs of the community. http://www.communityday.net
