On Line Freight Broker Training Classes

Transportation & Trucking will be the fastest growing business for the next 10 or 15 years. Everything that we use daily gets to us on a truck. Be part of this growing business. You can work this business in your home office until you grow to a point that you need an office away from home. There is no better way to make a living than helping others get their freight to final destination. "Anything you really want you can attain it, if you really go after it.” -- Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

(PRWEB) January 16, 2006 -- Mary Williams, CEO of Trans Logistic has put together an online training course for Freight Broker and Agents. The site is designed as a classroom type setting. Students will be able to ask questions via discussion board and they will get a reply and training vignettes on their particle subject.

Mary A. Williams has been in the motor freight industry in the Houston, Texas area for over 32 years. She grew up working in the freight industry. At age 23 Williams was employed by the (#1) largest LTL carrier in the United States. She was employed with that Carrier for 11 years and then moved over to the 3rd largest LTL carrier to gain more experience and as a promotion.    Starting in various positions while employed with two different major freight carriers, Williams moved into management after six months with the 1st carrier.

She became Terminal Manager for the third largest LTL carrier in the Beaumont, Texas location and then transferred back to Houston after 5 years in Beaumont, TX. Williams was the Freight Operations and Administration Manager at the Houston Consolidation Center. Williams as later promoted to Freight Operations Manager for the South Texas Division with the responsibility of Training Dock Employees, Clerical and Manager for South Texas, Mexico and Guadalajara.

In August of 1999 Williams, left her position of Manager of Training to open up her own Transportation and Logistics company. On November 10, 1999 she received her MC to start her operations as a Transportation Broker.

Williams is always eager to help others. She gives back to the community. In 2003 she opened a free forum to answer question for new people wanting to go into the Transportation Broker business. She has been asked to teach Freight broker classes, but as of this date, her schedule has not permitted such, so she opened an On Line Freight Broker Training Class. This will be an interactive forum and as usual Williams will respond and answer all questions.
