Saved by Star Wars A Girl's Life is Dramatically Altered by the Philosophies Presented in 'Star Wars'

When Naya Lionsong saw "Star Wars" for the first time at eight years old it changed her life forever. The philosophies presented in the movies taught her the meaning of spirituality. They taught her to trust her instincts and follow her heart. She hopes that by sharing her experiences in her books she'll be able to help others find the same spiritual freedom she has come to know.

Toogoom, QLD (PRWEB) January 15, 2006 -- From the time she was a small child, Naya Lionsong questioned the religious beliefs being forced on her by a Christian society. Everything she had experienced in her life up to that point made her believe that there had to be more to religion than what she was being taught. "People go to church on Sunday and make a promise to God and themselves to try to live the teachings of Christ," she explains. "Then they go home and live their lives as they've always lived them."

She was eight years old when she saw "Star Wars" for the first time and from that moment on her life would never be the same. "It took me away from religion and taught me what it means to be spiritual. It taught me how to look within myself for God rather than looking outside myself," she says. She is convinced that she would not be the spiritually and ethically sound woman she is today if she had never seen the "Star Wars" movies.

Naya shares her unique story in her first book, "The Force Within". "I've always wanted my first book to be something that would inspire people," she explains. "I want people to know they have it within themselves to discover and walk their own spiritual paths." Using her research findings and personal experiences, she guides her readers on a journey of self-discovery through her childhood and into her young adult life.

"The Force Within" is available on paperback at Lulu (www.lulu.com), the world's fastest-growing provider of print-on-demand books, or you can request it at your local book store.
