Sam’s Club Presents Super Bowl XL Gospel Celebration With Patti Labelle,Top Gospel Artists and NFL Players For A Star-Studded Inspirational Evening in Detroit

Patti Labelle Headlines The Only NFL Sanctioned Super Bowl Gospel Celebration in Detroit. She will be joined by The Winans, The Clark Sisters, Mary Mary and Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Choir at the Masonic Temple, Friday, February 3.

Detroit (PRWEB) January 16, 2006 -- Sam’S Club is the proud presenter of the the 2006 Super Bowl Gospel Celebration (SBGC). SBGC will bring an evening of inspirational music, soul-stirring testimonies from NFL players and surprise guests to help kick off Super Bowl Weekend at the Masonic Temple on Friday, February 3 at 7:45 p.m. Sam’s Club is a first time title sponsor.

The seventh annual Gospel Celebration will feature award-winning, singing sensation Patti LaBelle who will share the stage with the hottest artists in gospel music including Detroit natives and gospel icons the Winans and Clark Sisters. In addition Grammy Award winning duo Mary Mary and New York’s own Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Choir will perform.

The Super Bowl Gospel Celebration evolved from NFL players suggesting an event during Super Bowl Weekend that highlighted Gospel music. The event has drawn thousands and has proven to be one of the most attended events during Super Bowl Weekend. Each year, the gospel concert features the industry’s top artists joined by several current and former NFL players. In the past, NFL greats Antwaan Randle El, Cris Carter, Curtis Martin, Kurt Warner, Tommie Harris, Michael Barrow, Troy Vincent, Qadry Ismail, Aeneas Williams, Deion Sanders, Quincy Carter, LaVar Arrington, Bryan Scott (just to name a few) and others have given their time to the event. Players share their testimonies and inspirational messages with the audience.
