Act! Consultant Sponsors ATP Tournament

ACT!, telemarketing and tennis are a perfect match.

(PRWEB) January 17, 2006 -- ACT! consultant, author and trainer, Karen Fredricks, recently announced that her company, Tech Benders, is once again a sponsor of the ATP tennis tournament to be held in Delray Beach, FL. The tournament will run from January 30 through February 5, 2006 and has attracted some of the best tennis players in the world including Andre Agassi, James Blake and Robbie Ginepri.

The tournament directors, International Tennis Championships, contacted Tech Benders to implement the ACT! software program in their call center. ACT! is a contact management database. It provides calendar, contact and communications functions as well as sales tools and reporting capabilities. The ITC was looking for ways to report on their Sales Pipeline. Marketing was also a key requirement as the ITC needed to have the ability to print labels and e-mail to the 33,000 prospective tennis players in their database.

According to Fredricks, “When the ITC first contacted me in 2003 they had a variety of contact lists in various formats. ACT! allowed us to combine these lists into one centralized database. Management can now provide each sales person with a list of potential contacts. As the telemarketers make calls and sell tickets that information is readily available to management.”
